LEHIGH VALLEY, PA – November 8, 2019 – Exploring the eight member wineries of the Lehigh Valley Wine Trail next weekend will give wine lovers a chance to help the less fortunate in our community while enjoying local wine.

The trail’s new Giving Before Thanks event on Saturday, November 16 and Sunday, November 17 encourages winery guests to donate a non-perishable food item in exchange for a free wine tasting. Guests who plan to visit several of the wineries for the event can bring a food donation to each winery they visit to receive a complimentary wine tasting at each. Food will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank for the Lehigh Valley and New Ringgold Area Food Pantry Christ Church McKeansburg. (No glass bottles or jars.)

Member wineries will each have their own special activities or promotions taking place, such as live music, wine specials, food and wine pairings, and more. (See list below) Event hours at all of the wineries are Saturday from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon – 5 p.m.

The Lehigh Valley Wine Trail is a nonprofit organization of wineries whose mission is to promote agri-tourism and to create a premiere wine destination and grape growing region while promoting Pennsylvania wines from the region.
