Attractions Oct. 11-13 Include Bratwurst Eating Competition and Brewers’ Village
Oktoberfest presented by Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) at SteelStacks returns for its second weekend with even more family-friendly activities and entertainment! The event, which runs Oct. 11-13, is packed to the brim with music, entertainment, German inspired food and, of course, beer! Highlights include:
The Karl Ehmer Bratwurst Eating Competition I Oct. 12, 6 p.m.
Do you think you have the guts (literally) to battle it out and become our Oktoberfest Bethlehem Bratwurst Eating Champion? Watch as competitors’ race to be the first to eat 15 bratwursts. The winner earns a $250 cash prize.
Brewers’ Village I Oct. 11, 7 p.m. & Oct.12, 1 & 4 p.m.
Sample the New Yuengling Hershey’s Chocolate Porter in addition to a diverse array of
hand-crafted beers, from German-style marzens to autumn-inspired pumpkin ales, in the Musikfest Café presented by Yuengling! Tickets: $25 ($20 ArtsQuest Members) when purchased in advance & $30 ($25 ArtsQuest Members) when purchased at the door.
Dragtoberfest | Oct. 11, 9 p.m.
It’s a show filled with dancing, ballads and comedy by some of the Lehigh Valley’s favorite drag queens in the Samuel Adams & Weyerbacher Biergarten!
The Weiner Dog Races I Oct. 12-13, 3 p.m.
The cutest race in Pennsylvania is back! Watch as the dachshunds face off to be named fastest pup at Oktoberfest. Register your dog for $15 at www.steelstacks.org/oktoberfest.
