CARBON COUNTY DAY OF CARING 2019 – The Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley is partnering with United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley to present the first annual Carbon County Day of Caring on Wednesday, October 16. DELAWARE & LEHIGH NATIONAL HERITAGE CORRIDOR, Easton is looking for volunteers to help with their Half Marathon Run & Walk on Sunday, November 3. Volunteers will staff water stops, start and finish areas, and many places in between. They serve water and food, direct participants at road intersections and crossings, help present medals and awards, and cheer on participants. The course starts at the Northern Lehigh High School, Slatington, and finishes at Canal Street Park, Northampton.
