Lehigh County, PA- The County of Lehigh has lifted its temporary burn ban.

In place since Friday, November 15, 2024, the burn ban prohibited all forms of open burning. The County passed the temporary burn ban at the urging of the top municipal fire officials from throughout Lehigh County. This recommendation underscored the urgent need to mitigate fire hazards and protect life and property in Lehigh County.

Please note that municipalities that have existing ordinances prohibiting open burning must be followed even after this temporary burn ban expires.
