Joshua Tree Experts Will Perform Their Last 2024 Tree Donation Service

Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania – On Wednesday, December 4th, 2024, a tree care crew from Joshua Tree Experts will be at the Pocono Wildlife Rehabilitation & Education Center to perform complementary tree removal services as part of the #JTGivesBack initiative. The tree care crew will arrive on site in the morning and have service rolling by 8:30 AM. The 3-man crew will perform services into the early afternoon.

Joshua Tree Experts, a Lehigh Valley-based tree service, lawn care, and pest control provider, is dedicated to community involvement and has a goal to donate one-day of tree care services to a non-profit organization once per quarter. Through the giving back initiative, Joshua Tree Experts provides a 3-man crew, at no cost to the non-profit, to tackle tree pruning or removal. Concluding 2024 with the donation to the Pocono Wildlife Center, JTE will have donated 2,405 hours and over $277K of tree services to the Lehigh Valley and beyond as part of the #JTGivesBack initiative.

Susan Downing, one of Pocono Wildlife’s Executive Directors, submitted a tree care donation request on Joshua Tree Experts’ website, and was chosen as their candidate for the final donation service to take place in 2024. “The Wilderz” at Pocono Wildlife aims to serve both the community and local wildlife. “Not only is our goal to create a place for animals in need, but it is also to create a place that supports the relationships between humans and wildlife.” Their rehabilitation and education center is located in Stroudsburg, PA and serves the Northeast regions of PA. The center is also the only Pennsylvania facility that rehabilitates bears. Serving the community since 1983, Pocono Wildlife has grown to now intake over 3,000 animals every year, and stays committed to their goal of creating a “safe place for injured, abandoned, and orphaned animals while providing ethical treatment and love to all involved.”

Joshua Tree Experts excitedly anticipates assisting the Pocono Wildlife Rehabilitation & Education Center in enhancing the safety of the center, especially near the barn and flight pen. These efforts will allow the center to continue their rehab efforts, and safely house both their ambassadors and new wildlife alike.
