Stroudsburg, PA: WS Design & Build is organizing a Hurricane Relief Drive on October 19th to support the residents of North Carolina impacted by the recent hurricane. The event will take place from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Home Depot located at 150 Mountaineer Dr, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. Community members are encouraged to participate by donating essential items to aid those in need.
Volunteers will be present at the Home Depot location throughout the day to assist with donations and provide information on other ways to support the relief efforts.
The relief drive will collect non-perishable food, bottled water, hygiene products, clothing, blankets, and other necessities. WS Design & Build will be personally driving supplies down to help the affected communities in North Carolina using their company van to ensure that donations are delivered promptly. Monetary contributions are also welcome to help purchase additional supplies.
Examples of Donatable Items:
- Non-Perishable Food: Canned goods, pasta, rice, and other long-lasting food items that do not require refrigeration.
- Bottled Water: Sealed bottles of water to provide clean drinking options for those in need.
- Hygiene Products: Soap, toothpaste, shampoo, and other basic toiletries to maintain personal care and cleanliness.
- Clothing: Gently used or new clothing items for all ages, including shirts, pants, and outerwear.
- Blankets: New or clean, gently used blankets to provide warmth and comfort.
- Monetary Donations: Cash contributions or gift cards to purchase additional supplies and support relief efforts.
