Wildlands Conservancy – Get Out! For Wellness: Natural Lands’ Bear Creek Preserve – 1:00PM – 3:00PM EDT at Bear Creek Preserve, 47 Rabbit Run Lane/ Rt. 115, Wilkes-Barre Township, PA 18702. Join our hike to the scenic overlook on a path of mountain laurel, red pines and blueberry bushes with the option to continue 2 miles round trip to a waterfall in the Shades Creek gorge. Questions? Hike with us for some of the best views along the Appalachian Trail, walking beside the reservoir and along a babbling stream. Moderate to challenging. Questions? Wildlands Conservancy – PreK Pathfinders: Herpetology, Trexler Nature Preserve – 10:00AM – 11:00AM EST at Trexler Nature Preserve- Environmental Education Center, 4935 Orchard Road, Schnecksville, PA 18078. For children aged 3-5 and their grown-ups. This month: Herpetology- Reptiles! Meet some reptiles and learn how their unique traits influences their behavior in the winter. Questions? Wildlands Conservancy – Get Out! For Wellness: Ringing Rocks from Below – 10:00AM – 12:00PM EDT at Ringing Rock Trailhead, 1975 River Road, Upper Black Eddy, PA 18972. The hike will ascend to above Falls Creek as we approach the boulder field where we will explore ringing rocks (bring a hammer). Wildlands Conservancy – Turkeys Unveiled: Ecology and Live Encounter – 2:00PM – 3:30PM EST at Dorothy Rider Pool Wildlife Sanctuary, 3701 Orchid Place, Emmaus, PA 18049.  Join us with Bob Eriksen, certified wildlife biologist, to learn about conservation and natural history of one of the biggest symbols of Thanksgiving: the turkey! Wildlands Conservancy – Red Rock Mt. Airey – 1:00PM – 3:00PM EST at Red Rock Trail, 745 Red Rock Road, Cresco, PA 18326. Red Rock Trail is part of the Mount Airy Trail Network on lands protected by a conservation easement with Paradise Township.
