CIS of Eastern PA Promotes Phil Parise to Regional Director of Operations

Parise joins Migdalia Garcia in overseeing regional operations for the non-profit. 

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (September 24, 2024) Communities In Schools of Eastern Pennsylvania (CIS of Eastern PA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Phil Parise as the new Regional Director of Operations for the Lehigh Valley and Poconos region. In this role, Parise will oversee the planning and supervision of CIS of Eastern PA’s regional operations in its expanding footprint.

In his new role, Parise will join Migdalia Garcia, the Regional Director of Operations who serves Lehigh Valley as well as Berks, Chester and Delaware counties. They both will be charged with the continued expansion of in-school services in 46 schools in five counties across Eastern Pennsylvania.

CIS of Eastern PA’s regional directors of operations uphold the fidelity to the Communities In Schools model and ensure the quality delivery of services throughout Eastern Pennsylvania. They will collaborate closely with the senior leadership team and be the conduit to the program managers to ensure consistent programming across all sites, utilizing best practices and adhering to Total Quality System (TQS) standards for data management.

One of the key responsibilities of the regional directors is to foster and maintain partner relationships within their region. Both Parise and Garcia will serve as a liaison between CIS of Eastern PA and various partners, including school districts and other community stakeholders, to ensure effective collaboration and alignment of goals.

Additionally, they will play a pivotal role in managing site professionals to accomplish the agency’s objectives, providing leadership and guidance to support the professional growth and development of team members.
