Bethlehem, Lehigh Valley, PA., September 23, 2024 – Get ready to kick your creativity into high gear! Now’s your chance to represent Pennsylvania at the FIFA World Cup 26 for Philadelphia, an official Host City of this world-renowned sporting event.

With ArtsQuest’s extensive history of hosting FIFA Approved World Cup Soccer Viewing Parties over the last decade (and one of the largest in the Commonwealth), including receiving recognition by the International Festivals & Events (IFEA) as one of the Best New Events at the 2014 World Cup and hosting viewing events for both Men’s and Women’s World Cups from 2014 through 2023, we are excited for local artists from our community to participate in this unique opportunity and a chance to represent the state.

Find all the details here on how to submit your work – FIFA World Cup 26 Poster Contest.

“This is a great way to kick off the World Cup excitement for Philadelphia and here in the Lehigh Valley,” ArtsQuest Chief Operating Officer, Curt Mosel stated. “And we will once again be applying for a FIFA approved viewing party to showcase all of the excitement at SteelStacks when the FIFA World Cup comes to North America in 2026.”

For each World Cup, FIFA creates a poster to represent and commemorate the tournament and has asked each Host City to design their own poster to be part of a series. For the initial round, artists are asked to submit portfolios of their work – must be original work ready for digital reproduction (AI-generated art is prohibited) by 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday, October 4. The artist must be a Pennsylvania resident that is 18 or older; entrants under the age of 18 must have a signed Parent Permission form printed, completed with signatures and emailed to PosterContest@philadelphia2026.com or postmarked by October 4 to Philadelphia Soccer 2026, 1900 Market Street, Suite 601, Philadelphia, PA 19103.

Upon submission, up to 10 artists will be chosen to bring their Philadelphia-soccer vision to life. Each selected artist gets $1,000 to fuel their creativity. Chosen artists will be contacted directly by Philadelphia Soccer 2026 by Friday, October 11 and will receive the necessary logo, color files and design regulations to complete their designs. Final design submissions are due by Monday, November 4.

The artists of the top three designs will be notified by Friday, November 22 and will receive an additional $2,500. These designs will be sent to FIFA for the final pick. All selected artists will receive social media features showcasing samples of their work, local press coverage and a special event showcasing the finalists.

The winning artist selected by FIFA will receive an additional $7,500. When the Host City poster design is revealed, Philadelphia Soccer 2026 will host a press event with the winning artist to showcase their work and will continue to work directly with the artist on publicity and promotional opportunities leading up to and during the FIFA World Cup 26. The world’s eyes aren’t just on Pennsylvania in 2026 – they could be on your winning design!

*The winning artist will be required to sign over all rights to the design to FIFA.
