County Executive Lamont G. McClure Set To Attend Election Safeguard Forum

County Executive Lamont G. McClure was invited to participate in the Keep Our Republic event held in Ann Arbor, Michigan, at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library on September 18 and September 19, 2024.

“Keep Our Republic’s event aims to promote transparency and provide the audience with a comprehensive explanation of the safeguards in the election system so the public can better understand why elections are reliable and the results are accurate,” said Executive Lamont G. McClure. 

Participants, including secretaries from Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Michigan, chief election officials, and other county leaders, will guide the audience through each stage of the election process. The discussions will provide invaluable insight into how votes are cast, counted, and certified, underscoring the reliability of election results.
