Plus Dorney Park Introduces Tricks and Treats, an All-New Fall Event for the Entire Family
ALLENTOWN, PA (August 19, 2024) – Dorney Park’s historic 2024 season will offer another first when the park debuts Tricks and Treats, an all-new fall daytime event offering fun for the whole family, on Saturdays and Sundays, September 14 through October 27.
Little goblins and grown-up ghouls will be invited to enter a larger-than-life spooky Halloween adventure, surrounded by themed decor, activities, and entertainment.
Tricks and Treats includes:
- Trick or Treat Trail
- Youngsters can get a supply of their favorite treats from costumed characters at this immersive trick-or-treating event.
- New entertainment and LIVE performances
- New Boo-licious fall-themed food
- Halloween costume contests
- Seasonal make-and-take crafts
- Patch’s Pumpkin Patch
- A pumpkin decorating station will help you create a gourd art masterpiece.
- Specialty souvenirs
- Bewitching brews, potions, and magical elixirs for guests over 21 years old
“We are excited to bring this new, over-the-top Halloween experience to guests of all ages,” Jessica Naderman, Dorney Park’s general manager and vice president. “Tricks and Treats offers something for everyone to love. Bring the entire family, kids, parents, and Dorney grandparents, and make new, unforgettable memories together!”
Tricks and Treats will offer select rides. A 2024 or 2025 Season Pass and Pre-K Pass include admission to Tricks and Treats.
Halloween Haunt
Dorney Park is also ready for another Halloween Haunt to return on Friday, September 13. This year the sinister transformation offers some dynamic changes and promises to turn the theme park into a scream park filled with unforgettable thrills and unspeakable horrors.
Halloween Haunt offers night rides on the all-new Iron Menace roller coaster, seven haunted mazes, each with its own frightening theme in a standalone experience, plus six scare zones, where guests encounter midways that have been completely transformed with ghoulish monsters and rampant scares.
Dorney Park will announce the newest scare zone on Thursday, September 5th.
Returning Haunt attractions include:
- The Ghost In The Machine: The new for 2023 maze tells the chilling backstory of the Iron Menace roller coaster while leading guests on a harrowing, nightmarish adventure through the remnants of Hiram McTavish’s old factory.
- Tourist Trap, Blood on the Bayou, Trick or Treat, Blackout, Necropolis, and Roadside Stop N’ Chop
Returning Scare Zones include:
- Carnevil, Port of Call, Midway Misfits, The Hollow, and Dystopia
Halloween Haunt runs Friday and Saturday nights, September 13 – October 27. The park is also bringing back the popular HAUNT Sundays on October 6, 13, 20, and 27.
Guests who purchase a 2025 Gold Pass now will get unlimited visits to Tricks and Treats and Halloween Haunt in 2024.
Halloween Haunt is not recommended for children under 13. Most park rides and attractions will be in operation. Guests are not permitted to attend HAUNT in costume.
