Campers will enjoy a cost-free day at the park while participating in Summer Nights festival 

(ALLENTOWN, PA) July 26, 2024 – Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom will play host to the Dare to Go Beyond (D2GB) Performing Arts Camp in collaboration with R.Evolución Latina on Saturday, July 27.

The day of fun for close to sixty campers and over 100 other family members, chaperones and volunteers will start in the morning at Dorney park & Wildwater Kingdom’s Good Time Theatre. While in the theatre, campers will rehearse before performing on the Midway Mainstage at 12:30 p.m.

Campers will then be treated to a catered meal and fun activities in the park before enjoying some of the regularly scheduled Summer Nights performances set to begin at 5 p.m.

Since its inception, R.Evolución Latina has been dedicated to empowering children through the arts. This year’s camp organized from July 22nd to July 26th, featured a lineup of Broadway and NYC artists committed to inspiring the next generation of performers.

Founded in 2008, the D2GB Performing Arts Camp has provided free classes in dance, voice, acting, and other performance disciplines to children ages 7 to 17 from various schools and community organizations across New York City’s five boroughs and various Latin American countries came together for the week-long immersive experience.

We will continue our cherished tradition of a Friday show, and for the first time, we are expanding the experience to include a special showcase at Dorney Park. The work we do is a testament to how our community comes together to support and uplift each other, creating unforgettable moments and opportunities for our youth. WE DARE TO GO BEYOND.”

The Dorney Park Cares event is the latest in a series of events coordinated to help fundraise or provide access to the park for individuals in the region who need it the most.
