BETHLEHEM, MAY 18 – The vibrant and diverse community of Southside Bethlehem is gearing up to celebrate the second year of Greenway Pride. The event will take place on Saturday, May 18th on South Bethlehem’s Greenway between Taylor and Adams Streets from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Attendees can look forward to a myriad of activities and performances, such as a charity-bake sale, live performance artists, drag queens, face painting, caricatures, chalk-the-walk, and more. Local music will include DJ Brad Scott, Ghost Lily, Eric Vain, and mystery headliner, the “Bob”s.

Greenway Pride was started as an affirmation of Southside Bethlehem values of inclusion and diversity, and as a reminder that our community is one that accepts and loves all humans regardless of gender, sexuality, race, class, or ability. This year’s theme is “radical unity” which promotes the message that regardless of which intersections our identities fall, there is no greater strength than in the unity we build together.

Whether you identify as LGBTQIA+ or as an ally, Greenway Pride welcomes you to join in the celebration and stand proud with the vibrant community of Bethlehem and the greater Lehigh Valley. Let us come together, uplift one another, and create a future where acceptance and equality reign supreme.
