The Yoga Loft of Bethlehem Celebrates a Holistic Approach to Health and Wellness with “Oasis: A Wellness Experience” Event in May
[April 24, 2024, BETHLEHEM, PA] – “Oasis: A Wellness Experience” is an all-encompassing celebration of holistic health and wellness offerings, featuring expert speakers, local businesses, and holistic therapies including sound therapy, yoga sessions, movement practices, nutritional guidance, and more. This special wellness expo is available exclusively at The Yoga Loft, a space of wellness and inclusivity where individuals of all backgrounds and abilities are welcomed to embrace the transformative power of yoga, Envisioned and designed by small business owner, Rachel Abott, who discovered The Yoga Loft as a serene haven during her corporate marketing days, invites yoga novices and those seeking refuge from the daily grind of everyday life to experience all the different facets of wellness and self-care in one place. “Oasis: A Wellness Experience” will occur on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Yoga Loft of Bethlehem located at 521 E 4th Steet, 3rd Floor, Bethlehem, PA 18015.Rachel Abott, owner of The Yoga Loft describes her inspiration for “Oasis“: I moved to the Lehigh Valley as a new wife and mom, working as a corporate marketing executive at a leading global manufacturer. Introducing yoga as a refuge from the hustle and bustle helped to ground me, bringing clarity and rebuilding my confidence along with mental and physical well-being.” Abott continues, “It is now part of my mission to help lead those seeking peace and self-love to find ‘water in the desert,’ so to speak. We aim to help people reconnect with themselves and discover the essential elements needed to nurture and grow, mentally, physically and emotionally at The Yoga Loft of Bethlehem.”
Participants can expect a retreat atmosphere with access holistic practices that aid in stress and anxiety relief and align mind, body and spirit. As part of the “Oasis” experience, The Yoga Loft of Bethlehem is offering the opportunity to feature healthy recipes in a collaborative “Yoga Loft Community Cookbook.” The Lehigh Valley community, including businesses, is encouraged to send in their favorite health-conscious recipes for inclusion in the community cookbook, part of a wellness toolkit available free with registration to “Oasis” event. In addition to “Oasis: A Wellness Experience,” The Yoga Loft is offering free classes at upcoming community events:
- SouthSide Arts District: Spring on the Southside on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. The SouthSide Arts District annual spring event offers free yoga and Zumba classes, live music, food and area businesses located on the South Bethlehem Greenway between Polk and Adams Streets. The Yoga Loft owner, Rachel Abott will conduct 2 free 30-minute yoga classes at 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m..
- Mental Health Awareness Month Community Yoga Class in partnership with the City of Bethlehem and Bethlehem Mayor Reynolds at Payrow Plaza on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. This free community yoga class, taught by The Yoga Loft owner, Rachel Abott, is in recognition of Mental Health Awareness month. Yoga and meditation have been proven to have significant impacts on participants’ mental health, including lower stress levels, increased mental clarity & focus, and reduced feelings of anxiety and depression.
- Northside Alive is held monthly from May through September, on the last Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. – 11a.m. located on the grassy lawn outside of The Brick (1 W Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA). The Yoga Loft of Bethlehem is partnering with Northside Alive for the 2nd year to offer free monthly community yoga classes with Yoga Loft teachers. Monthly classes begin May 25, 2024.
