March 13, 2024 – The Allentown Police Department (APD) is inviting community members to participate in a survey aimed at gathering insights and perspectives.
The survey, available from March 13 to March 27, aims to gather feedback on various aspects of policing in Allentown. The input received will help to frame the APD’s strategic priorities and initiatives for the future.
Police Chief Charles Roca, emphasized the importance of community involvement in this process, stating, “The perspectives of our residents are invaluable as we chart the course for the Allentown Police Department. By actively engaging with our community members, we can ensure that our strategic plan is reflective of their needs and priorities.”
The survey gauges sentiment on community policing efforts, police response, and crime prevention strategies. All responses will be anonymized and aggregated to maintain confidentiality.
Residents, businesses, students, and stakeholders are encouraged to take part in this survey at Community Survey on Public Safety (arcgis.com).
