Allentown, PA: The Palestinian & Muslim community in the Lehigh Valley is urging community members to attend an emergency action in Allentown on Friday, October 13, to demand the immediate end of the harrowing siege on Gaza. The people of Gaza are trapped in an inhumane crisis, devoid of the most fundamental necessities for survival—food, water, and electricity. As we speak, hundreds of innocent children continue to fall victim to relentless bombardment.
Today, the situation in Gaza is beyond dire. Innocent lives hang in the balance, with hundreds of children among the casualties, their innocent laughter silenced by the relentless bombs. The siege has plunged the region into darkness, cutting off access to essential utilities, food, and clean water. Families are struggling to secure even the most meager sustenance. Gaza is cut off from the rest of the world, there is no safe place to hide.
