Liberty High School Marketing Musikfest Class Announces Upcoming Artists at this Year’s Musikfest
The Liberty High School Marketing Musikfest class is proud to announce their three upcoming artists at Musikfest 2023. The three artists are Christian Porter, Flavor Wave, and Locations. The three bands will perform at Musikfest on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at the Plaza Tropical stage at the time slots of 3 p.m., 4 p.m., and 5 p.m.
Christian Porter, an artist from East Stroudsburg, PA, who has appeared on NBC’s The Voice, is performing in the 3 p.m. slot on August 5. He has recorded many singles and released two albums including the most recent, Collaborations With Myself, in 2022. Flavor Wave is an up-and-coming band from West Chester, PA. They are an alternative rock band playing gigs all over Southeastern Pennsylvania. Locations is a 2-person alternative rock band established in 2017. They are from Brooklyn, NY, and have been performing in over 100 gigs all around the East Coast. The Liberty High School Marketing Musikfest class is very excited to see our three upcoming artists perform this Summer at Musikfest.
About the Liberty High School Marketing Musikfest class
The Marketing Musikfest class is a marketing/business class at Liberty High School, Bethlehem PA. In the class, the students learn how to select bands, contract negotiations, marketing and public relations skills, and social media publishing for their selected bands to play at the Plaza Tropical Stage at Musikfest. This year, the class split into three groups and selected three artists to play at this year’s Musikfest. The class is sponsored by ArtsQuest and it has been very lucky to have many representatives from the organization visit the school and talk about how they perform their job, which helps us do ours.
