EASTON, Pa., (April 25, 2023) – The Center for Animal Health & Welfare, a life-saving adoption facility dedicated to finding permanent homes for homeless pets, announced today that local artist Adriano Farinella will be donating 20% of the proceeds from his Harmonic 91 painting sale to the organization. Farinella will present the donation check to The Center on April 27 during a tasting event at Butterhead Kitchen.
The donation is part of a program established by Farinella and Butterhead Kitchen to benefit local animal shelters through a revolving seasonal installation of paintings at Butterhead’s Easton space. CAHW is the first beneficiary of the program.
According to Farinella and Butterhead Kitchen’s owner Jason Sizemore, who both own rescue dogs, their shared mutual passion for animal welfare and rescue made supporting this cause an obvious choice.
“Animal shelters need financial support to accomplish the countless hours of extraordinary work they do all year long. I wanted to use my painting sales at Butterhead Kitchen as a vehicle to help our local shelter and begin a partnership that I hope grows to provide consistent and significant donations with each painting installation and sale,” said Farinella.
“We’re honored to be selected as the first beneficiary of this program and look forward to continuing a relationship with both the artist and the restaurant,” said Dawn Brosious, Development Director at The Center for Animal Health & Welfare.
