Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Dealers Preview 2023 Auto Show “The Future is Right Here, Right Now!”

LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa. – The Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Dealers Association today held a press conference to provide a first look at several new models previewing at the 2023 Lehigh Valley Auto Show. Eleven vehicles were on display: 

2023 Mercedes EQS450X – Mercedes Benz Lehigh Valley

2023 Porsche TYCAN – Porsche Lehigh Valley

2023 Infinity QX60 – Bennett Infiniti

2023 Maserati MC20 – Bennett Maserati of Allentown

2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4XE – Kelly Auto Group

2023 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV – Kelly Auto Group

2023 GMC Denali Pick up truck – Star Buick GMC

2023 Chevy Camaro – Outten Chevrolet of Allentown

Plus Three Custom/Tuner Vehicles from this year’s new Custom Pavilion

 

The show will again be held at Lehigh University’s Goodman Campus and will run from Wednesday, March 22 through Sunday, March 26. This year’s show will mark its 24th anniversary. It will feature over 145,000 sq. ft. of new cars, trucks, crossovers, SUVs, trucks, and motorcycles in four venues: Stabler Athletic and Convocation Center, Rauch Fieldhouse, a Custom/Tuner Pavilion, and Goodman Hall. 

 

Dancers from Ely Dance Studio kicked off the press conference with an exciting dance to the song RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW as a video played showing the evolution of the automobile. Dan Moyer, executive director of the Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Dealers Association then took the podium to announce that the 2023 Lehigh Valley Auto Show will be the most exciting, comprehensive auto show ever. The 2023 Lehigh Valley Auto Show will be different from previous auto shows, beginning with a new entrance location, at the top of the lot, next to Stabler. There will be directional signs guiding our visitors to each building. We will have New Vehicles, Classic Vehicles, Muscle Vehicles, Trucks, and the all-NEW Custom/Tuner vehicle section. The 2023 Lehigh Valley Auto Show will have more manufacturer vehicles than what was present at the Philadelphia Auto show.

 

The chair of this year’s auto show, Keith Muir, vice president of Star Buick GMC, then took the podium to reinforce how important the Lehigh Valley Auto Show is for our community and how this year will be one of the best. Keith was followed by Ozzy Munoz of Downshift Nation and Jecci Clark from Autoholics, who have partnered with the show to feature custom vehicles in the Custom Pavilion.

 

Some highlights for this year’s show include a racing simulator on Friday, March 24th, From 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Lehigh Valley Phantoms players and their mascot on Thursday, March 23rd, O’Grady Quinlan Irish Dancers on Friday, March 24th, Miss Pennsylvania Alysa Bainbridge, and Miss Outstanding Teen on Saturday, March 25th. This will be an amazing show for all, whether you are a car enthusiast or just browsing or here to make a buying decision.

 

GLVADA, Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Dealers Association, connects consumers to the auto industry’s latest advancements via the annual Lehigh Valley Auto Show. It allows the consumers to see every make and model in one area. It also educates interested parties on the variety of employment opportunities available within the retail automotive industry. Pre-Covid New Car Dealers were the third largest employer in the Lehigh Valley. 

 

The Lehigh Valley Auto Show is built for the consumer, to inspect all angles of the vehicle’s interior and exterior in a pressure-free environment. The product specialists at each manufacturer space are simply there to answer any questions you may have about the vehicles.   

 

In 2022 GLVADA and our dealers combined, gave back over 1.1 million dollars to wonderful organizations in the Lehigh Valley.  

 

Volunteers are needed to staff this year’s show. Volunteers will have four-hour shifts and receive a free t-shirt. The show will be open: 

Wednesday, March 22– from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM for our Community Days. (First responders, medical personnel, and Veterans) receive free admission. 

Thursday, March 23 – 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM 

Friday, March 24 – 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM 

Saturday, March 25 – 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Sunday, March 26– 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM 

Pricing: $9.99 for adults, $7.99 for seniors (55 +), and $7.99 for children (6-14). Children five and under receive free admission.

Founded in 1998, the Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Dealers Association is made up of 63 new car franchised dealers responsible for 6,370 jobs, with a combined annual payroll of more than $390 million (according to the 2018 Automotive Industry Economic Impact Study prepared by Auto Outlook, Inc.) The association produces several major events each year, including its signature event, the annual Lehigh Valley Auto Show. The association and its member dealers are very active in the community, supporting area nonprofit organizations as well as programs that recognize and educate local automotive technology students. The association’s goal is to help consumers get the most from their experiences with the group’s member dealerships in addition to doing its part to help the communities where its members live and work.
