FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (February 18, 2023, Lehigh Valley, Pa) – At a launch event for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lehigh Valley (BBBSLV) new mentoring program, “Sports Buddies”, players from our local professional basketball team, Lehigh Valley Legends, were among the first athletes to step up to the plate and register to become volunteer “Bigs”.

BBBSLV Associate Program Director, Kisten Wisdo wrote, “We appreciate your time and support in helping to defend the potential of Lehigh Valley youth.  We are excited to make a positive impact in the community with our new mentoring program – Sports Buddies!”

Lehigh Valley Legends Chief Operating Officer, James Stewart, continues, “One of the biggest aspirations of our organization is to help the youth within our community.  Our partnership with BBBSLV and their ‘Sports Buddies’ program will provide an invaluable service for our youth.”
