Neighborhood Health Centers of the Lehigh Valley will host a free dental clinic for children as part of the American Dental Association Foundation’s annual “Give Kids A Smile” event.
The Easton event is for children ages 1 – 17 and provides a free cleaning, screening, fluoride treatment, sealant, and oral health education. Appointments made in advance are recommended, but walk-ins will also be welcomed. To make an appointment, call 484-544-3113. The event is open to the general public. (Children do not need to be patients of NHCLV to participate.)
According to the ADA Foundation, the Give Kids A Smile® program, launched nationally in 2003, provides underserved children with free oral health care. Each year approximately 6,500 dentists and 30,000 dental team members volunteer at local GKAS events to provide free oral health education, screenings, preventive and restorative treatment to over 300,000 children. https://www.adafoundation.org/give-kids-a-smile/
