Lehigh, Northampton and Monroe county public libraries receive book donation
EASTON, Pa. (Nov. 2022) – Kids and Crayola Experience are teaming up with the Easton Area Public Library to celebrate Children’s Book Week (11/7-11/13) by inspiring all children to bring books to life.
Crayola and publishing house Running Press Kids have donated copies of the newly released Crayola: Ellie’s Crayon Adventure, as well as the book Crayola: Follow That Line!, to all the public libraries in Lehigh, Northampton and Monroe counties for kids to check out.
To celebrate Children’s Book Week, the Easton Area Public Library also is exhibiting the new colors that area kids imagined during a recent event at Crayola Experience where children participated in a book reading of Ellie’s Crayon Adventure and were inspired to create their own new color.
The library also will hold book readings of Crayola: Ellie’s Crayon Adventure and encourage kids to create and add even more colors to the exhibit.
Crayola: Ellie’s Crayon Adventure, is about a young girl who dreams of colors no one had ever seen. During a school visit to the Crayola Factory—where Ellie learns how crayons are made and meets the mystical Color Catcher—she has a mishap with a wonderous outcome. The picture book, geared to children ages 4-8, is written by Sarah Glenn Marsh and illustrated by Tiffany Rose.
