BETHLEHEM, PA – Are you a trusted member of the community, want to have a positive impact on your community, and have a passion for helping others? Northampton Community College (NCC) is offering free virtual information sessions about the Community Health Worker (CHW) career on November 8 at 10 a.m. and on November 10 at 1:00 p.m.

As a CHW, you will help individuals overcome barriers to care by linking them to their local community resources. The Affordable Care Act mandates that CHWs are to be members of health care teams in patient-centered medical homes or in accountable care organizations, causing this to become a growing field. Our accredited Community Health Worker training program provides the tools to be successful in a new career with the potential of earning $14.00 per hour. Join NCC for a free fact-finding information session to learn about the career, training program and how to get started.
