Juan and Lauren Vargas felt like they were on the road to nowhere with their corporate jobs and wanted to take the leap into a business venture of their own. With a passion for coffee, they quit their jobs and began Nowhere Coffee Co. It’s a little bit of everything. From Nowhere-To-Go coffee pickup to Nowhere, Now Here in-store events and seasonal food offerings. Coffee, Tea and a Place to Just Be.
After months of tireless work, equipment delays, and building a great team, their doors are now open to the public! “We have received a tremendous response in just the first week of opening our doors and announcing the soft launch on our Facebook page” stated Lauren, co-owner of the shop. She continued stating “we are loving meeting so many people in the community and making ‘Nowhere’, ‘Somewhere’.”
When asked about this new business, Ashley Lorah, Senior Vice President of the Affiliated Chambers commented: “While the pandemic has brought about a lot of challenges, we love to see community members who are making the best out of their situations in life, especially when it means starting a new business! We’ve already heard from multiple community members that there was a need for a local coffee shop in the area. We can’t wait to see how Juan and Lauren bring their community together.”
The Western Lehigh Chamber of Commerce invites you to join us for the grand opening and a ribbon cutting ceremony of Nowhere Coffee Co. on Saturday, February 26th from 10:00AM to 12:00PM. The ribbon cutting ceremonies will begin at 11:00AM.
