During the varsity double-header basketball games on Jan. 25th, Parkland and Allentown Central Catholic High Schools will be raising money for PCFLV.
ALLENTOWN, PA, Jan. 24, 2022 – Parkland and Allentown Central Catholic High Schools will be hosting a fundraiser for The Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley (PCFLV) on Jan. 25th at Parkland High School.
The evening will consist of a varsity double-header, with the girls varsity game beginning at 5:30 p.m., followed by the boys varsity game at 7 p.m.
Since last week, both schools have been selling specially-designed t-shirts to raise funds. They will be holding raffles and collecting donations at the game as well. All proceeds will benefit PCFLV.
“The amount of work that the students, parents and staff have put into this fundraiser is amazing,” said Tracy Stauffer, Marketing, Community Relations and Development Coordinator at PCFLV. “It is so great to see these students from rival high schools join forces to raise money for pediatric cancer kids in the Lehigh Valley.”
All media are invited to the game. During half-time of the boy’s game, a check will be presented to PCFLV, who will be represented on-site by a Parkland pediatric cancer family. For more on the check presentation, please reach out to Tracy Stauffer at 610-462-8331. Please note, Tracy Stauffer will be at the game, as well.
