  • A filmmaker and a therapist detail their venture to bring the power of the medium of film to treatment of survivors of commercial sexual exploitation, while a professional storyteller uses her talent to relay how her experience with a behavioral disorder influenced her career choice.

The latest Healing Magazine issue also features an article that discusses an approach that’s being called “CPR for suicide prevention,” as well as an examination of an innovative program that is bringing the concept of “urgent care” to issues of mental and behavioral health. And two teachers answer the question, “How are kids doing as they return to in-person learning, after the changes in education prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic?”
