NEW BETHANY MINISTRIES, Bethlehem seeks volunteers to prepare for Luminaria Night 2021 from 3-5:30 p.m. on October 26, 27, 28. We need to assemble 10,000 luminaria kits. SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK, Nazareth, is packing Food Boxes each month for nearly 2,500 seniors in six counties. Many volunteers are needed to help assemble boxes, pack boxes with food and loading packages. Three-hour shifts occur between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on November 13 & 16, and December 18 & 21. THE SALVATION ARMY CHILDREN’S SERVICES is hosting our annual Christmas party for foster families on Saturday, December 11 at Swamp Mennonite Church in Quakertown. We are looking for imaginative volunteers to create a beautiful winter wonderland scene that we can use as a background for photos with Santa. The background should be able to accommodate families of various sizes and be able to be wiped or sprayed down with disinfectant between uses.
