PA, NJ, and NY Motorcyclists Ride to Raise Funds for Brain Tumor Organizations!
Tires Against Tumors Motorcycle Charity Event
Raises Funds for Childhood Brain Tumor Research and Family Support Programs
Palmer, PA, Sunday, September 26, 2021 – Approximately 13 children daily are diagnosed with a brain tumor, the deadliest childhood cancer. On Sunday, September 26, 2021, the motorcycling community will ride to change that.
Hosted by Events to End Pediatric Tumors, the Tires Against Tumors motorcycle ride and community gathering will help fund critical research to cure the more than 100 types of childhood brain tumors, family support programs and college and vocational scholarships for survivors by donating our proceeds to The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.
Participants will enjoy a scenic, police-escorted motorcycle ride from The Brown & Lynch American Legion located at 2260 Corriere Road in Palmer Township, PA, through the Poconos and Blue Mountain, then through a Covered Bridge. Local pediatric brain tumor survivors and their families are welcome to accompany motorcyclists on their ride in motorcycle sidecars or backseats.
Any make or model of street legal motorcycle is welcome, and the whole family – including non-riders – will enjoy some games, local vendors, face painting, welcoming our Warriors (young people battling brain tumors) with a small presentation during light lunch. The 9/11 Tribute Trike will be in attendance as will Dinky’s ice cream.
Registration costs $25 per person ($10 for passengers) and includes a light breakfast and ride t-shirt. The American Legion will be offering lunch items for sale.
