HISPANIC CENTER OF LEHIGH VALLEY, Bethlehem seeks hardworking volunteers to assist with donation deliveries to the food pantry. On Fridays, volunteers would go to Sam’s Club collection site if needed, load the van, unload donation at the Center, count, and record quantities of donation, and organize food on shelves so it is ready for distribution. On the third Thursday of the month, we receive a delivery from the Food Bank where the same process occurs. Min age 16 and must be able to lift 25–30-pound boxes of food. HOLIDAY HOPE CHESTS, Lehigh Valley is looking for volunteers to wrangle empty shoeboxes from local shoe stores for the Volunteer Center’s Holiday Hope Chests Program. Visit a shoe store close to you, join our Shoebox Squad and visit a specific store weekly, or be on-call for an emergency run when boxes are ready for pick up.
