BETHLEHEM, Pennsylvania, May 28, 2021— The Celtic Cultural Alliance announces its Youth Fiddle Competition for students up to age 18 to be held on September 25, 2021, at the Charlie Brown Ice House, Bethlehem. Also, a free Celtic fiddle workshop will be held at Celtic Heritage Hollow at Celtic Classic Highland Games and Festival on September 26, 2021, at 10:00 a.m.
This unique fiddle contest primarily focuses on Celtic fiddling styles, including Irish, Scottish, Cape Breton, Shetland, and Galician. Two age categories divide the contest and three cash prizes and medals are given to the top three scores in each division. It is educational and entertaining to contestants and the audience alike.
