The City of Allentown is again expanding its Call Center access to now assist people of all ages who are having difficulty registering for COVID-19 vaccinations.
All Pennsylvanians became eligible to receive the vaccine this week. The Allentown Health Bureau only administers the Moderna vaccine which goes to persons at least 18 years of age and older.
The Call Center at 610.890.7069 is now open to all Allentown and Lehigh County residents who have difficulty scheduling a vaccination appointment on-line. It was originally opened last month to senior citizens age 65 and older. Last week it was expanded to Allentown and Lehigh County citizens who are 55 years of age and older, and food industry workers living or working in Allentown and Lehigh County.
The Call Center is available Monday thru Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Calls will reach a bilingual person who will assist in scheduling a COVID vaccination as supply of vaccine permits.
Call volume is expected to be high and your patience is requested.
Call center operators cannot assist with missed appointments or general COVID questions.
