Williams Brew Stage performances continue featuring new artists and special events
BETHLEHEM, PA – Palette & Pour restaurant, located on the first floor of the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks, is presenting another sequence of live performances and delectable dishes every Friday and Saturday night of March. Beginning Friday, March 5, diners will experience live performances and special events all month.
The acoustic, Irish folk band, Fig for a Kiss will start the lineup on March 5 as part of SouthSide Arts District’s “Shamrock and Roll – Irish Music Walk.”
The Jazz Improvisational Experience, an open jam, is back on March 12 and 26. Diners can jam with a group and house band, Joe Mixon, Brian Bortz and Vern Mobley. You don’t need to be a musician to participate — all instrumentalists and vocalists are welcome. The option to sign up and jam will be available right on the performance page by the option to reserve a table. There will be a limited number of slots available for each show. If you are planning to come before or hang out after your jam time, please note you will need to make a reservation.
The Williams Brew Stage, made possible by the generous donations of ArtsQuest Circle Donors, Dr. Mary Ellen Williams and Mr. John Brew, will welcome Acute Inflections for the first time on Saturday, March 13. Acute Inflections is New York’s sultry duo led by a former Broadway singer. They can often be found entertaining their clients (United Nations, Mercedes-Benz, etc.) at high-end events across the country. They have shared the stage with Jennifer Hudson, Keith Urban and other notable artists at some of these events. Their albums often top the jazz charts, and their shows are both fun and enchanting.
Other can’t-miss artists include the relatable Stefanie Johnson Duo with catchy hooks and love torn lyrics, jazz-cabaret style band Ginger and the Schnappes, improvisational funk rock group Mosey Beat and Graffiti Smile, a Philadelphia based indie rock band.
Free table reservations will become available here on Tuesday, Feb. 23 to ArtsQuest Members and Friday, Feb. 26 to the public. There is a $10 food and beverage minimum per person in each party.
Following all CDC, state and city health and safety guidelines, campus attendance is being limited to ensure proper social distancing and masks – covering both the nose and mouth – are required at all times, aside from when seated eating and drinking.
