Bethlehem, PA – January 29, 2021 – PBS39, a service of Lehigh Valley Public Media™, will host its first virtual Be My Neighbor Day event on Saturday, March 13. Children and families will have two separate opportunities that day to tune-in via Zoom.

About: Inspired by the PBS KIDS series, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Be My Neighbor Day invites children and families to learn about how to be a caring neighbor and hear from important community members who aid neighbors in need. The event will be held virtually over Zoom. Registrants will be sent the event link prior to the start.

Prior to the event, be sure to pick up an activity pack from a PBS39 partner with supplies, books and fun materials for your helper (printable items will also be available on our website). Partner locations will be announced in February 2021 and packs will be available beginning March 1.

Collection Drive:
PBS39 is partnering with New Bethany Ministries to collect critically-needed toiletries as part of our Be My Neighbor Day initiative in February and March. Click here to view their list of needs: http://amzn.to/38NEPvX

When: Saturday, March 13, 10:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
