The Hellertown-Lower Saucon Chamber of Commerce (HLSC), proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, is starting off the new year in the most delicious way possible with their 2021 Winter Restaurant Week!
From Sunday, January 17th – Saturday, January 23rd, food lovers from across the Lehigh Valley can get a taste of everything that the Hellertown-Lower Saucon food and beverage scene has to offer. Similar to their Summer Restaurant Week initiative, the Hellertown-Lower Saucon Chamber is not requiring businesses to have a traditional three-course menu. Instead, they have instructed participants to pick a special that best suits their business during these times. This can be, but is not limited to, specials such as a “set-price” or “prix fixe” menu, takeout menu, gift card deal, or discount opportunity for their customers.
This initiative gives patrons a chance to return to their favorite spots, while also providing participants with an opportunity to reach new customers with enticing deals. Not only is the exposure beneficial for local establishments, but it also assists them in generating additional cash flow.
Ricky Gower, Chair of the Hellertown-Lower Saucon Chamber Board, said “I’m going to simply state—our restaurant community needs our support now more than ever before. Winter Restaurant Week has turned into an awesome tradition in our Hellertown-Lower Saucon Area. Hats off to all participating restaurants! With the variety of specials offered, the initiative is always a lot of fun. Be sure to mark your calendars for January 17th – January 23rd as a week to not cook at home but rather dine out and/or order out. Let’s show our love and support!”
Lauren Bertucci, Manager of Affiliated Chambers for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber commented, “Our team always looks forward to this initiative as it gives us the opportunity to showcase the wonderful restaurants, breweries, and wineries located within the Hellertown-Lower Saucon Area. As these local establishments continue to navigate through ever-changing mandates and restrictions, they need the support of the community, and the entire Lehigh Valley, as we shine the spotlight on them during the 2021 Winter Restaurant Week. We hope you’re feeling hungry because we have quite the lineup of specials for you!”
Brandy Franco, Co-Owner of Drip – The Flavor Lab, said, “We at Drip are so happy to be involved in Restaurant Week this year. It’s especially exciting for us because it gives us an opportunity to showcase our delicious burgers and rebranding. It also allows us to give something back to the people that have supported us over the past couple of years.”
Chef Joseph Stout, Owner of Hellertown Chef Meals LLC dba CHEFstreet kitchen, commented, “As a new business in the area at Dewey Fire Co., this is an awesome opportunity to be part of Restaurant Week with other culinarians to offer specials to our community with diversity of food culture. I look forward to serving the community with my services including meal prep, catering, and next level comfort street food. ‘Food is the ingredient that binds us together.’ Thank you Lehigh Valley Chamber!”
