Galleries closing in response to Governor Wolf’s order

Allentown, PA—The Allentown Art Museum will be closed to the public from December 12, 2020, to January 4, 2021, following Governor Wolf’s COVID-19 mitigation measures announced on December 10. Under the order, in-person businesses such as museums and theaters are prohibited from operating. The galleries are closed and all in-building programming and events are paused during this time. Virtual programming continues at www.AllentownArtMuseum.org.

Museum Trustees and staff take seriously the health threat that COVID-19 posed to our community, and we wish to be part of the concerted action to stem the spread of the disease. While art can help heal, the physical health of our members, visitors, and patrons is of primary importance at this trying time, and we encourage those who care about our Museum to take care of themselves and their loved ones.
