Bethlehem, PA.  – The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced the nominees for the 47th Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards; the two-hour special will air Friday, June 26 at 8 p.m. on CBS. Articulate with Jim Cotter, presented by Lehigh Valley Public Media, home to PBS39, is nominated in two categories: Outstanding Multiple Camera Editing and Outstanding Sound Mixing.

“As the presenting station, we believe in and admire the work that the Articulate team is doing. For the show to be recognized in two separate Daytime Emmy categories, which is more than many other well-known commercial shows, is outstanding,” said Tim Fallon, Chief Executive Officer at Lehigh Valley Public Media.

Now in its fifth season, Articulate is an arts and culture magazine show that explores how creative people think. Through in-depth reporting, powerful personal interviews and captivating visual storytelling, Articulate takes an interdisciplinary look at diverse forms of creative expression, approaching artists as deep thinkers and doers who reflect and help shape our understanding of the world. Both of the show’s nominations are for episode 507, Andrew Bird: Whistling While He Works.
