Creative programs aimed at helping businesses during COVID-19 pandemic.
[Bethlehem, PA] March 26, 2020 – Businesses throughout the Greater Lehigh Valley have begun to offer new and creative ways to get their products and services to customers. Inspired by the #OpenWeStand movement (learn more), The Chamber has introduced a new campaign to encourage Greater Lehigh Valley residents to support local businesses by taking advantage of these solutions.
On social media, users are asked to use the hashtag #OpenWeStandLV to spread the word and encourage their friends, families, and followers to get involved. Instagram posts with this hashtag are also posted on The Chamber’s website.
The Chamber has compiled a list of businesses offering curbside pick-up, take-out, and delivery options, which can be found on our website. Business owners and consumers are also encouraged to join our Facebook group, Support Valley Business, to stay connected and share ideas, deals, and other offerings.
In partnership with Adams Outdoor Advertising, billboards have been placed throughout the Lehigh Valley, with the message “Come and Get It – or We’ll Deliver!,” reminding everyone that it is still possible to support your local community while maintaining social distancing.
